Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with both animals and people and takes pride in providing excellent patient care. Resposibilities include providing compassionate patient care and nursing support, assisting veterinarian with examinations, treatements, and procedures, obtaining patient histories and vital signs, collecting and processing laboratory samples, placing IV catheters and administer medications and treatments as directed, assisting with anesthesia, surgery, & dental procedures, monitoring anesthetized and hospitalized patients, performing radiographs and in house laboratory testing, educating clients regarding medications and home-care instructions, maintaining accurate medical records, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe facility, and assisting with inventory and general hospital duties Qualifications include Veterinary Technician degree/certification with or without license. Previous veterinary hospital experience preferred, strong animal handling and handling skills, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and be dependable, compassionate, and able to work in a sometimes fast-paced.
Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
