Duties Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including anesthesia administration, radiology diagnostics, and surgical assistance. Perform laboratory work such as phlebotomy, diagnostic testing, and sample processing to support accurate diagnoses. Handle animal restraint and animal husbandry tasks to ensure safe and stress-free examinations. Operate medical equipment including X-ray machines, anesthesia monitors, and other veterinary diagnostic tools. Administer medications, IV insertions, and animal catheterizations following aseptic techniques. Monitor critical & intensive care patients, providing emergency medicine support when needed. Maintain detailed records using veterinary software, ensuring accurate documentation of treatments and procedures. Qualifications Proven veterinary technician experience with knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and anatomy. Kennel experience and dog handling skills to manage various pet behaviors effectively. Strong background in dental terminology, animal restraint, and pet grooming techniques. Experience with laboratory procedures, radiology diagnostics, anesthesia monitoring, and emergency medicine. Familiarity with veterinary surgical assistance, medical equipment operation, and critical care protocols. Ability to communicate confidently with clients about pet care plans and treatment options. Pay:
