Specialty Procedural Exposure:

Perform specialized sedation, endoscopic anesthesia, fluoroscopic-guided interventions, and ultrasound workups alongside board-certified leadership.

Key Responsibilities Anesthesia & Sedation:

Prepare, administer, and monitor tailored sedation and general anesthetic protocols for flexible/rigid endoscopy, ultrasound-guided biopsies, and interventional fluoroscopic procedures.

Diagnostics & Imaging:

Perform venipuncture, run in-house laboratory diagnostics, capture digital radiographs, and assist with diagnostic ultrasound imaging.

Procedural Support:

Assist DVMs during internal medicine procedures, manage patient recovery, and track post-anesthetic vitals through full stabilization.

Equipment & Inventory Care:

Maintain and clean specialized internal medicine instrumentation, including the medical endoscope tower, flexible scopes, ultrasound units, and lab equipment.

Client Education & Discharges:

Direct patient check-ins, record detailed histories, and conduct comprehensive discharge consultations with clients. Qualifications Active Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) license in Oregon (or eligibility for license reciprocity). Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience, with preference for background in specialty medicine or advanced anesthesia monitoring. Proficiency in drug calculations, venous access, continuous patient monitoring, and managing anesthetic complications. Strong communication skills and a commitment to structured, evidence-based care.

Pay:

$26.00 - $31.00 per hour
