Qualifications Vet Tech 0-1 years of related experience, or 3-5 years in ULAR husbandry. Experience working with animals in a research or clinical setting is preferred. AALAS certification at the Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician level preferred, or a demonstrated commitment to attaining that certification within the time frame established by AALAS. Ability to respond to changing circumstances by being innovative and altering behavior to better fit different situations. Ability to lift 25-50 pounds, with fair amount of walking. Computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word programs. Vet Tech Sr Associate of Science and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
