Job Description

Are you a skilled technician looking for a practice where your voice matters, your growth is supported, and your work truly makes a difference? K.Vet Animal Care is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our team. We're not your average clinic. At K.Vet, we blend the best of conventional medicine with Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine for a truly holistic approach. That means you'll have the opportunity to work with diverse treatment modalities while expanding your own knowledge base. What We're Looking For We want more than technical skills (though those are important!). We're looking for someone who: Shows up with compassion, curiosity, and reliability. Can juggle patient care with client communication while keeping a sense of humor intact. Thrives on teamwork but isn't afraid to take initiative. Values relationships — both with colleagues and with the families who trust us with their pets. What You'll Do Your days will be a mix of medical, technical, and client-facing responsibilities, including: Assisting in exams, procedures, and (when credentialed/needed) surgeries. Running lab work, imaging, and diagnostics. Administering medications, treatments, and vaccines. Monitoring hospitalized patients and supporting recovery. Educating pet owners on preventive care and nutrition. Maintaining precise medical records. Helping with phone calls, scheduling, and and general patient-care clean-up (no boarding or kennel work). What You Bring Prior veterinary technician experience (licensed preferred, but not required). Strong grasp of anatomy, physiology, and veterinary terminology. Competence in radiology, labwork, animal restraint, and medication administration. An eagerness to learn and grow as part of an evolving hospital. Why K.Vet? At K.Vet, you'll join a stable, supportive team that values both medical excellence and workplace culture. We're committed to helping every staff member learn, grow, and find fulfillment in their career. Here, you'll have the chance to sharpen your skills, explore integrative approaches to patient care, and build lasting relationships with both pets and their people.
