FULL-TIMEVETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Hershey Veterinary Hospital | Hershey, PA Hershey Veterinary Hospital is looking for a dependable, organized, and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team full-time! We are seeking someone who enjoys working in a busy veterinary hospital, takes pride in providing excellent patient care, and works well with both clients and fellow team members.Schedule:
This is a full-time position with floating shifts throughout the week based on hospital coverage needs , including: Morning shifts: 6:00 AM-12:00 PM Evening shifts: 12:00 PM-8:00 PM Every other weekend Responsibilities include: Assisting veterinarians with routine wellness exams and sick appointments Safe and confident animal restraint Venipuncture and blood collection Administering medications and injections as directed Running in-house laboratory testing using IDEXX equipment Assisting with digital radiographs Preparing patients and treatment areas for appointments and procedures Accurately documenting and communicating patient information Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked hospital environment Providing compassionate care to hospitalized and outpatient pets Communicating professionally and respectfully with clients Working closely with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and reception staff to keep the hospital running efficiently The ideal candidate will be: Comfortable handling and restraining dogs and cats Experienced with venipuncture and basic veterinary technician duties Organized and able to manage multiple tasks Detail-oriented and dependable Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment A strong communicator with excellent people skills Compassionate and patient with both pets and their owners Willing to help wherever needed and work as part of a team Committed to maintaining a clean and professional veterinary hospital We are looking for someone who understands that great veterinary medicine involves more than technical skills—it also requires teamwork, communication, attention to detail, compassion, and excellent client service.
