What You ll Do As a Veterinary Technician Surgery , you ll support our surgical department, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient care. In this role, you will: Provide hands-on assistance during procedures from general patient care and diagnostic workups to advanced interventions under the guidance of senior technicians and specialists. Manage a range of technical tasks , such as venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, medication administration, and patient record-keeping. Maintain a high level of organization , ensuring the department is stocked with necessary supplies and that equipment is ready for immediate use. Monitor and care for non-critical and recovering patients Administer medications and treatments ( IV, IM, SQ, PO ) Prepare and manage patient recovery from anesthesia Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, clinicians, and support teams Maintain accurate records , follow treatment plans , and assist with patient discharge Demonstrate sound medical knowledge and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting Apply Fear Free and low-stress handling techniques to keep patients safe and calm Anticipated Schedule This is a full-time position with the following available schedule:

Monday-Thursday:

You likely have:

1 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician/Nurse

CVT/LVT/RVT
