Job Description
Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Animal Care Technician in Robesonia, Pennsylvania (PA). Training provided and entry level applicants are welcome. Responsibilities for the Animal Care Technician include:
- Perform daily Animal husbandry duties such as health check, cage changing, and waste disposal
- Oversee laboratory sanitation and environmental conditions such as humidity and temperature
- Assist in basic veterinary care for animals housed within the vivarium
- Oversee vivarium supplies and resources
- Provide support to rodent breeding colonies
- Maintain logs and research documentation in accordance with company standards Qualifications for the Animal Care Technician include:
- 1 year of animal husbandry
- HS Diploma Compensation for the Animal Care Technician include:
- Compensation is $18.00/HR
