Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures. Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed. Prepare animals for surgery, including anesthesia induction and monitoring. Conduct X-rays and maintain imaging equipment Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient. Educate pet owners on proper animal husbandry, nutrition, and care practices. Assist with animal catheterization and dental procedures when required Qualifications Certification or degree in Veterinary Technology from an accredited program is required Experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital setting is highly desirable. Proficiency in veterinary terminology, laboratory procedures, and animal care practices. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and pet owners. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
