Great Rivers Animal Hospital in Alton, IL is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our compassionate team of pet care professionals. Due to our continued growth, we're excited to welcome a new team member who shares our commitment to exceptional veterinary care. Who We Are Great Rivers Animal Hospital is a thriving small animal general practice that recently relocated to our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in 2024. Located near St. Louis, we provide comprehensive veterinary services in a modern, well-equipped environment. Our leadership team is passionate about fostering a healthy work culture where every team member can thrive professionally and personally. The Role As a Certified Veterinary Technician, you'll be a vital member of our clinical team, working alongside our veterinarians to provide exceptional care to our patients and outstanding service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures Perform laboratory tests and analyze results Monitor and care for hospitalized patients Educate clients about pet health and preventative care Maintain medical records and equipment Prepare surgical instruments and assist during surgeries Administer medications and treatments as directedWhy You'll Love Working With Us Work-Life Balance:

Our pay ranges are primarily determine d by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximu m target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determine d by work location and additiona l factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
