$22.00-$26.00 per hour, based on experience and credentialsSign-On Bonus:
$1,000 Prairie Animal Hospital is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our compassionate, collaborative team in North Prairie, Wisconsin. Since 1988, our well-established six-doctor small animal practice has proudly served the North Prairie community with high-quality, personalized veterinary care. We foster a positive team culture where collaboration, learning, and exceptional patient care come first. What You'll Do As a Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you'll play a vital role in delivering outstanding medical care to our patients by: Assisting veterinarians with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures Performing venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory diagnostics, and sample collection Preparing surgical patients and monitoring anesthesia before, during, and after procedures Performing and assisting with dental cleanings, dental radiographs, and dental procedures Taking high-quality digital and dental radiographs Administering medications and treatments as directed Educating clients on pet health, medications, and post-treatment care Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records Collaborating with a supportive veterinary team to provide exceptional patient care Qualifications Current Certified Veterinary Technician (credential required) At least 18 years of age Strong technical and patient care skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Positive attitude with a commitment to compassionate veterinary medicine Passion for continuous learning and professional development Schedule Full-time opportunity, open to Part-time Flexible scheduling options Rotating Saturdays (8:00 AM-12:00 PM) No Sundays Closed most major holidays Compensation & Benefits $22.00-$26.00 per hour, depending on experience $1000 sign-on bonus- paid 90 days after employment Medical, dental, and vision insurance Free mental health benefits 401(k) with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Continuing education allowance License renewal reimbursement Uniform allowance Tuition reimbursement and educational assistance Employee pet discount Why Prairie Animal Hospital?
