- Assist veterinarians with examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Perform laboratory tests, such as blood work and urinalysis
- Prepare animals for surgery and monitor them during recovery
- Provide post-operative care and follow-up instructions to pet owners
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Assist with cleaning and sterilizing equipment
- Assist with animal restraint when necessary ```Qualifications```
- Licensed Veterinary Technician/ Registered Veterinarian Technician
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital preferred (not required)
- Knowledge of animal care, including handling, feeding, and grooming
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in animal physiology and anatomy
- Experience with animal catheterization
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
