• Assist veterinarians with examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
• Perform laboratory tests, such as blood work and urinalysis
• Prepare animals for surgery and monitor them during recovery
• Provide post-operative care and follow-up instructions to pet owners
• Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
• Assist with cleaning and sterilizing equipment
• Assist with animal restraint when necessary ```Qualifications```
• Licensed Veterinary Technician/ Registered Veterinarian Technician
• Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital preferred (not required)
• Knowledge of animal care, including handling, feeding, and grooming
• Familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures
• Proficiency in animal physiology and anatomy
• Experience with animal catheterization
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
