Job Description Nebraska Animal Medical Center - Licensed Veterinary Technician Nebraska Animal Medical Center in Lincoln, NE, is seeking experienced Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our dedicated team. Qualifications:

Licensed Veterinary Technician in Nebraska (or eligible for licensure). Emergency experience is preferred, but not required—we value a strong foundation and eagerness to learn. Self-starter with excellent critical thinking skills and a positive, can-do attitude. Ability to work efficiently and compassionately in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Job duties include (but are not limited to): Triage of incoming patients and emergency cases. Collection and analysis of laboratory samples. Diagnostic imaging (including ultrasound). Management and nursing care for hospitalized patients of varying stability. Administration of enteral and parenteral medications. Clear communication of treatment plans with clients. Surgical preparation, assistance, and anesthetic management. Supporting our full range of services, from wellness to emergencies.

Full daytime emergency capabilities. Dedicated ultrasound room with two ultrasound machines. Seven exam rooms plus a dedicated comfort room. Fully equipped dental suite with monitoring and warming. Large surgery suite. Boarding and daycare with a turf play yard. Full grooming facility. Radioiodine (I-131) treatment for cats. And much more—all designed for superior patient care and comfort.
