Territory Manager - Central U.S. at Vetamac Vetamac is seeking a highly motivated Territory Manager to develop and support our customer base throughout the Central U.S. territory. As the face of Vetamac in your region, you will establish long-term relationships with veterinary professionals, support new clinic projects, identify growth opportunities, and promote our portfolio of premium veterinary equipment and services. This role combines consultative sales, territory development, customer support, and industry representation. The ideal candidate is passionate about the veterinary field, thrives in an autonomous environment, and enjoys building strong customer relationships while delivering measurable results. What to expect in this role : Territory Management Develop and execute a strategic territory growth plan. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers. Identify and pursue opportunities to expand market share. Execute Vetamac's commercial strategy and sales initiatives. Achieve individual and team sales objectives. Customer Development & Sales Consult with veterinary professionals to understand their equipment needs. Present and recommend products and solutions tailored to each clinic. Conduct customer calls for all requests exceeding $1,000 before preparing quotations. Prepare and follow up on quotes using HubSpot CRM. Install and support equipment for new clinic projects. Prospect and develop relationships with potential customers. Follow up on opportunities and sales activities to maximize conversion rates. Promote Vetamac's service offerings and maintenance programs. Manage customer concerns and coordinate appropriate resolutions. Industry Representation Represent Vetamac at veterinary conferences and trade shows. Build brand awareness and develop new professional relationships. Stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Teamwork & Collaboration Collaborate closely with the Sales & Customer Support Director and Technical Services team. Participate actively in team meetings and sales initiatives. Provide support and expertise on departmental projects. Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve processes and customer experience. Service Contract Promotion Review service utilization with customers during calls, quotes, and interactions. Gather customer feedback regarding existing service agreements. Promote preventative maintenance and service contract opportunities when appropriate. What you need to succeed : 1. Required Qualifications Degree in Animal Health Technology or related field (required). Certified or registered as an RVT, LVT or CVT (preferred). Additional education in Sales, Business, or Marketing is considered a strong asset. Minimum 3 years of sales experience within the veterinary industry. Minimum 3 years of experience as an Animal Health Technician or Veterinary Technician in a veterinary practice. Experience managing a sales territory and customer accounts. Experience working with CRM software. Veterinary industry knowledge required. Experience using CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred). 2. Technical Know-How Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). Ability to prepare and present quotations and proposals. Comfortable learning and explaining technical equipment specifications. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Proven ability to build relationships and close sales opportunities. Strong negotiation skills. Ability to identify customer needs and provide value-based solutions. Strong territory planning and account management skills. Results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet performance targets. 3. Soft Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities. Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and accountability Special Conditions Frequent travel required throughout the assigned territory. Travel required for conferences, trade shows, customer visits, and equipment installations. Remote position with regular overnight travel. Valid driver's license and ability to travel independently required.
