This position is ideal for a technician who is passionate about anesthesia, enjoys working with advanced technology, and thrives in a collaborative specialty environment. As part of our team, you will provide anesthesia and perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing MRI, CT, neurosurgery, myelography, cerebrospinal fluid collection, and other advanced neurological procedures. Working closely with board-certified neurologists and specialty clinicians, you will play a critical role in ensuring patient safety and exceptional outcomes. What You'll Do Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and develop anesthesia plans Induce, monitor, and recover patients undergoing advanced imaging and neurosurgical procedures Monitor ECG, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, ETCO₂, ventilation, and temperature throughout anesthesia Manage ventilated patients and advanced airway support Assist with MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, myelography, and other neurological procedures Provide intensive perioperative nursing care and pain management Maintain anesthesia records and treatment documentation Operate and maintain anesthesia, monitoring, and MRI-compatible equipment Collaborate with neurologists, surgeons, emergency clinicians, and ICU staff to provide exceptional patient care Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Technology preferred Credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred Minimum 2 years of anesthesia experience in a specialty or referral hospital preferred Strong anesthesia monitoring and critical patient care skills Experience with mechanical ventilation and advanced imaging procedures preferred VTS (Anesthesia & Analgesia) or VTS (ECC) highly desirable but not required Why Join OSVS?
