Job Description
Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is f amily-owned veterinary hospital and we are seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our Ophthalmology team in Greenville, South Carolina. If you have a passion for helping pets with eye-related issues and a desire to work alongside a skilled team in a supportive environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Responsibilities Assist our board-certified Ophthalmologist in performing eye examinations, diagnosing ocular conditions, and planning treatments. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Perform diagnostic tests including tonometry, fluorescein staining, digital imaging, and ultrasound as needed. Monitor anesthetized patients during surgical procedures and assist in post-operative care. Educate pet owners about eye health, treatment plans, and medication administration. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care. Ensure a clean and safe work environment. Participate in continuing education and stay updated on advancements in veterinary ophthalmology. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent; Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) is preferred. Experience in veterinary ophthalmology is a plus.
