Job Description

WesVet Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and Licensed Veterinary Technician to join the team at our new animal clinic located in the Nashville/Brentwood area of middle Tennessee. Applicants currently in Tech school are also welcomed! We are considering full-time employees to work three to four days per week. Pay is highly competitive and commensurate with experience. WesVet utilizes the latest technology available to small animal clinics, including cloud-based practice management software, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, advanced surgical monitoring equipment, IV pumps and electrocautery to make for a full service client experience from check-in to check-out. Minimal front desk congestion is the goal with privacy of the exam room to serve the client best. Experience with Ezyvet is desirable, but not required. The practice focuses on high-quality medicine and client care while maintaining a healthy work environment. Team development and cohesion is the key to success. Empowerment, training, and mutual respect are critical components that will be part of our daily lives. Only team excellence can achieve the best of care for pets, which is our ultimate goal. The position will require being proficient in phlebotomy, placement of IV catheters, anesthetic induction/monitoring, maintaining and reporting of controlled substance logs, client interaction (via phone and in-person). We will also be providing dental CE for technicians so they can become proficient in both dental x-rays as well as cleanings/examinations. We are looking for a flexible individual that is willing to go above and beyond to help grow the clinic and provide an extraordinary experience for clients and pets.

$21.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
