We may be a great fit. Berry Hill Animal Hospital is a privately owned, independent small animal hospital located just minutes from downtown Nashville. We are a close-knit, four-doctor practice in an updated facility with a strong focus on excellent patient care, client service, teamwork, and individualized medicine. What You'll Do This position has a strong focus on surgery, anesthesia, dentistry, and hospitalized patient care , but is not exclusively dedicated to surgery each day. When the surgical schedule allows, you'll regularly float into our treatment area and help wherever needed.
Responsibilities include:
Surgical patient preparation, IV catheter placement, induction, intubation, and anesthesia monitoring Post-operative monitoring and recovery Dental cleanings, scaling and polishing, and dental radiographs Preparing and maintaining surgical, dental, and anesthesia equipment ICU and hospitalized patient care , including treatments, medications, and monitoring Assisting doctors and technicians in the treatment area Client communication, including discharge instructions and follow-up care Who We're Looking For Veterinary experience, particularly surgical experience, is required. Tennessee veterinary technician licensure is a plus, but not required. We're looking for someone who: Is confident with anesthesia and patient monitoring Takes initiative and anticipates what needs to be done Is dependable, organized, and hard-working Enjoys both surgery and general practice Communicates well with clients and coworkers Prioritizes patient safety, comfort, and well-being Is a team player who is willing to jump in wherever neededHighlights:
