Outdoor recreation abounds, with an excellent public school system, and world class attractions. Mountain Home Veterinary Hospital in Sevierville, TN is seeking a licensed veterinary technician (or experienced assistant) for our busy, 3 doctor, AAHA accredited practice. We are looking for a person who has outstanding people & organizational skills for interaction with both clients and colleagues, in addition to solid technical skills. Interest in dentistry is desirable. We feature Idexx Cornerstone software, Idexx in-house analyzers, digital radiography, advanced dentistry (with digital radiography), ultrasound, and emphasize high quality medicine and surgery. No on-call, no emergency (occasional weekend kennel duty on rotating basis). We are open Monday-Friday 7am - 5pm, work four 10 hour days. Benefits offered are generous paid time off, health insurance, Simple IRA savings plan, discounted pet care, and a negotiable salary based on experience.
