Veterinary Technician

We are looking to add experienced, friendly, energetic, compassionate veterinary technicians who are able to multitask, works collaboratively with all hospital team members and have an excellent work ethic. This position requires ability to work 7:30 am

• 6:00 pm Monday through Friday and 7:30am
• Noon on Saturdays. Look! No Sundays!
• Requirements for position:
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• minimum 1 year previous veterinary technician experience required; previous exotic experience preferred
• Possess a good attitude and contribute to a positive work environment
• Excellent at multitasking, prioritizing and time management
• Strong English; Extraordinary written and verbal language skills
• Animal care, restraints, client/customer interaction experience

REQUIRED

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and have a true passion for animals
• Experience with Cornerstone Practice Management software is preferred
• Lifting and carrying animals which may weigh upwards of 50 pounds
• Technical skills consistent with a veterinary medical professional
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time
• Drug free
