Veterinary Technician — Full-Time We're looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our busy general practice team. Our days include a mix of wellness and sick visits, so this is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys staying involved, using their clinical skills, and working closely with both doctors and support staff. We're looking for someone with at least 1 year of hands-on veterinary technician experience who is comfortable with core technical skills such as: Venipuncture and IV catheter placement Patient restraint for exams, treatments, and procedures Administering vaccines and medications In-house diagnostics and laboratory work Assisting with surgical preparation and anesthesia monitoring, with training available as needed What You'll Do Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures Perform blood draws, catheter placement, and diagnostic testing Administer medications and vaccines under veterinarian direction Monitor surgical and hospitalized patients Maintain clear and accurate medical records Educate clients on medications, home care, and post-operative instructions Work closely with the rest of the team to keep patient care and the day running smoothly What We're Looking For Minimum 1 year of hands-on veterinary technician experience Comfortable working with both wellness and sick patients Confident with core technician skills Strong communication and teamwork Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy practice Dependable, compassionate, and willing to jump in where needed
Compensation:
Starting at $19/hour based on experience, with room for growth as your skills, experience, and responsibilities develop.
