Emergency Veterinary Technician

Burleson Animal Emergency Hospital is a 24 hour, emergency only, small animal practice. We are currently looking for veterinary technicians to join our team. •We are currently looking for an overnight technician.•Technicians should have a minimum of 3+ years experience as a veterinary technician. Surgery and Critical Care experience is preferred. Client communication is also considered paramount. We are searching for someone who enjoys a fast-paced work environment with ample opportunities to have your technician skills utilized. This is not an entry level position. Candidates must have a passion for veterinary medicine that drives them to provide the highest quality care possible. The ability to prioritize and multi-task is key. Technical skills searching for but are not limited to are listed below: Venipuncture Place IV Catheter Anesthesia Surgery technician skills Triage Maintain Medical Records Radiology Patient Recovery Ability to communicate with clients In-house laboratory analysis Prioritize by emergency Drug calculations Patient Care Veterinary technician licensing is preferred but not required.
