Dallas, Texas Description Highland Park Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join one of Dallas's most established and prestigious veterinary practices. With over 57 years of service in the Dallas community, we now operate in a state-of-the-art, three-story luxury hospital offering advanced medical care and exceptional client service. This is an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Technician who is passionate about high-quality medicine, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is eager to grow within a progressive, full-service hospital.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Provide high-quality patient care for dogs and cats Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments Perform IV catheter placement and blood collectio Monitor and assist with anesthesia and surgical procedures Administer medications (IV, IM, SQ, oral) Educate clients on vaccines, preventative care, and treatment plans Support advanced services including radiology, ultrasonography, and lab diagnostics Maintain accurate medical records
