Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures, ensuring all protocols are followed with precision. Perform animal restraint using appropriate techniques to ensure safety for both animals and staff during procedures. Conduct laboratory work including blood draws, urinalysis, and other diagnostic tests utilizing veterinary laboratory equipment. Operate radiology equipment to capture diagnostic images such as X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety measures. Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments accurately following veterinary instructions and maintaining detailed records. Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures, including IV insertion, vascular access management, and anesthesia monitoring to ensure patient safety. Maintain cleanliness and aseptic techniques in surgical and treatment areas to prevent infections and promote optimal recovery. Support the front desk and kennel teams when needed Use veterinary software efficiently to document patient histories, treatment plans, lab results, and client communications. Assist in diagnostic radiology procedures by preparing animals for X-ray imaging and processing images for review. Handle client communication professionally by explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing pet care guidance with empathy.
What We're Looking For:
1+ years of veterinary technician experience preferred (CVT a plus) Compassion for animals and their owners Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Flexible schedule, including rotating
