Job Overview Join our team at Tanner Equine, a leading equine sports medicine clinic dedicated to providing top-tier care for performance horses. We are seeking a skilled and passionate Equine Veterinary Technician to support our veterinarians in delivering exceptional medical care to equine athletes. The ideal candidate must have general horse knowledge, be a self-starter, and maintain a positive attitude at all times. Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations and diagnostic procedures such as X-ray imaging and laboratory testing. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Communicate effectively with team members and clients. Prepare and administer medications as directed by veterinarians. Monitor the health and behavior of equine patients. Use aseptic techniques during clinical procedures to prevent infection. Requirements Prior veterinary technician experience is preferred, but no required. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Must demonstrate compassion for animals and dedication to high-quality veterinary care.
