The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in animal care and veterinary practices, demonstrating both technical skills and a genuine love for animals. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting veterinarians in providing high-quality care to our patients, ensuring their health and well-being. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. Perform routine laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed. Monitor animal patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient. Provide education to pet owners on proper care and treatment options. Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations and procedures. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment. Assist with kennel duties, including feeding, bathing, and exercising animals. Stay informed about advancements in veterinary medicine and techniques. Experience Candidates should have experience or knowledge in the following areas: Canine and Feline handling techniques to ensure safe interactions with various breeds. Familiarity with dental terminology related to animal care. Understanding of animal husbandry practices to promote healthy living conditions. Previous experience in a veterinary setting is mandatory . Basic understanding of animal physiology to assist in patient assessments.
