WHAT YOUR DAY ENTAILS AS A VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
As a Veterinary Technician, your day is filled with hands-on patient care, where you provide safe restraint, attentive nursing, and monitoring during exams and treatments. You assist veterinarians in routine appointments and surgical procedures while performing technical skills like venipuncture and radiography. You ensure pets receive the best care by administering medications and vaccines and educating clients on preventative health. In a fast-paced, multi-doctor environment, you thrive on building relationships with clients and their pets, all while enjoying opportunities for continued learning, including optional cross-training in urgent care. Your passion for exceptional pet care and dedication to teamwork make a meaningful impact on the lives of animals and their families.
WHEN YOU'LL WORK
Experience an excellent 4-day work schedule with 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, allowing you three full days off each week!
QUALIFICATIONS
1+ years of experience as a Veterinary Technician Proficiency in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and radiography Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach to client interaction Ability to work in a high-paced environment while maintaining excellent patient care
Preferred Qualifications:
Veterinary Technician certification or license (LVTs strongly encouraged to apply) Experience in general practice, emergency, and/or urgent care settings Team-oriented Willing to learn and grow Flexibility to support both general practice and urgent care
