Description Veterinary Technician Rowlett Veterinary Clinic Rowlett, TX Deliver Compassionate, High ‑ Quality Care in a Community ‑ Focused Practice Rowlett Veterinary Clinic, a proud Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands ‑ on clinical role ideal for technicians who enjoy working collaboratively, delivering excellent patient care, and being part of a supportive, fast ‑ paced environment. You'll experience the close ‑ knit feel of a community hospital with the tools, resources, and career opportunities of Thrive's nationwide network What You'll Do As a Veterinary Technician, you'll play an essential role in patient care by: Supporting veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures Preparing patients and surgical instruments for procedures Providing surgical assistance and post ‑ operative nursing care Administering medications and treatments as prescribed Assisting with outpatient treatments and in ‑ house laboratory testing Supporting patient flow through admissions and discharges Collecting patient histories and maintaining accurate medical records Using safe restraint techniques and following standard protocols Maintaining clean, organized, and sterile treatment, exam, and lab areas Communicating with clients about pet health concerns, medications, and treatment plans Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient hospital operations What We're Looking For Experience & Skills 1-2 years of clinical veterinary experience required
CVT/LVT/RVT
