Experienced Veterinary Technician

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced practice. The ideal candidate is confident, compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both small and large animals.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments for small and large animals. Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory testing, and radiography Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgical procedures Provide nursing care and monitor hospitalized patients Handle and restrain a variety of species safely and effectively Educate clients on animal care, medications, and preventative health Maintain accurate medical records Ensure cleanliness and organization of treatment and exam areas

Qualifications:

Minimum 2+ years of veterinary technician experience (mixed animal preferred but not required) Veterinary Technician Certification/Licensure (preferred but not required) Strong technical and animal handling skills (both small and large animals) Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills
