$17 and

We have a culture of mutual respect and acceptance, teamwork and positive attitudes. Our veterinary clinic is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the veterinarian with daily operations and clinical procedures, including patient intake and record keeping. Once you are fully trained to our protocols and doing well. We will start you into surgery. Surgery technicians help with anesthesia, post-surgical care, monitoring patient vitals, dental scaling, x-rays and assisting in medical procedures. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is capable of multitasking and handling information in a fast-paced environment and great for our culture.
Responsibilities:
Adapt to changing work environment. Learn to work fear free with animals. Learn the proper way to enter and update all types of medical records. Prepare equipment and instruments for use. Perform anything that is needed for routine and sick exams, tech visits, laboratory tests, filling medications, surgical and help keep the hospital clean. Interact with clients, staff, and other professionals in a manner that ensures smooth operation of the practice. Respond to emergencies and handle medical emergencies. Must be able to multi-task, be punctual, reliable and contributes to a positive culture.
