Responsibilities:

Collaborate with our veterinarians and team members to ensure seamless patient care and direct appointment and emergency case flow. Process laboratory samples using in house analyzers and external laboratories. Maintain thorough and accurate medical records. Educate pet owners on preventive care, nutrition, and post-operative instructions. Handle and restrain animals with compassion and expertise. Obtain diagnostic imaging via x-ray machines and CT Maintain anesthesia and assist with surgical and dental procedures

Qualifications:

Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) with a valid VA state license. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and protocols. Passionate about providing top-notch care to a variety of species - including wildlife Proficient in venipuncture, catheter placement, and animal handling. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Ability to work some evenings and rotating
