Job Description

Vinton Veterinary Hospital, a progressively growing hospital is currently hiring staff to join its dynamic and passionate team. Full-Time, Part-Time or Relief opportunities are available. Currently, the hospital is open for Wellness Monday-Friday 8-6 and Saturday 8-1 as well as for Urgent Care Monday- Friday 1-10pm and Sundays 9am-3pm. We welcome anyone interested in full or partial shifts to apply. Whether you are looking for a new place to call your work home on a full-time basis or interested in earning a little extra income after your primary work place closes, we would like to hear from you! Our 9 doctor, small animal hospital is well equipped with the latest innovations including digital radiography, ultrasound and Idexx in-house laboratory equipment. Responsibilities include triaging cases, assisting doctors in treating cases and providing excellent customer service to clients, anesthesia monitoring, assisting with dentals, catheter placement, blood draws, x-rays and radiology, running in-house lab work and preparing send out lab work. Competitive wages with shift differential applied to after hours and Sunday shifts. Full-time employees are eligible for a full range of benefits including health, dental, eye insurances, 401K plan, paid holidays, paid vacation time, paid sick leave, CE time and money and generous pet discounts available. Short-term Disability insurance is available at no cost to Full-time employees. $1,000-3,000 sign-on bonus available based on experience and skill level for full-time Licensed LVTs.
