Job Description
Spanaway Veterinary Clinic is a fast-paced, fun, team-oriented small animal and exotics clinic with a strong commitment to serve the animals and people of our community. All of our doctors see exotic patients which provides lots of opportunities to learn something new each and every day. We offer general practice appointments as well as same-day urgent care / sick pet care Monday
- Saturday.

Core Responsibilities:
Be willing to grow and learn, be comfortable asking questions, and be willing to explore new ways of working. Utilize your expertise to assist veterinarians in examinations, diagnostics, and treatments, including surgery and anesthesia, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients. Perform technical skills such as placing IVCs, administering injections, inducing anesthesia, bandaging wounds, and running diagnostic tests with the utmost care and precision. Be a trusted resource for pet parents, providing guidance on preventative care, nutrition, and behavior to promote optimal health and quality of life. Champion our commitment to exceptional patient care by maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring hospital processes and protocols are followed. Foster a supportive and collaborative team environment by sharing your knowledge, skills, and passion for veterinary medicine. Communicate with all team members, staff, vendors, and visitors in a respectful, professional manner while promoting the doctors' recommendations, hospital vision and goals, and your team. Contribute to hospital efforts and initiatives surrounding patient and team safety.
