You would be joining our team of 3 doctors, 4 CVTs, 8 assistants, 3 customer service representatives, 2 dog trainers, a kennel assistant (cleaner). The team is Fear Free certified and have weekly staff meetings where we share information and celebrate the good things we do and discuss issues that need to be addressed. We all do our best when we work together and have open communication. We have most of the bells and whistles now (digital Radiographs, ultrasound, IDEXX in-house labs, two Companion Therapy lasers, ect.) and we recently moved into our new building in December 2023. We may be in a rural area, but we provide a high standard of medicine with prices that people can afford (so they actually do diagnostics!) and still pay the bills. Compensation is based on experience (Starting at $15 an hour). Full time position is based on a 4-day work week (8am-5pm with 1 hour lunch) and every third Saturday (9am-1pm) so there is time to enjoy all this area has to offer. Additional Compensation includes (but is not limited to): Sign on bonus of $500 CE allowance Professional dues and licensing fees Paid vacation and holidays Simple IRA - matching up to 3% New scrubs and shoes annually Wellness center membership Good base wage Excellent bonus system Preventive care for up to two family pets Other products at clinic cost Cupcakes on your birthday and rose(s) on your work anniversary We will utilize your skills including: IV catheter placement phlebotomy safe animal restraint (cats and dogs, with some exotics if are interested) obtaining radiographs (orthopedic and soft tissue) anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery dental cleanings in-house labs: bloodwork, skin and ear cytology and parasitology screenings (although we send a lot out to IDEXX) therapy laser treatments compassionate care for our hospitalized patients inventory and equipment maintenance client education helping wherever needed We are a professional team that enjoys working together and having fun while we are at work.
