Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)

Healthy Pet Veterinary Clinic on Madison's East Side is seeking a full to part-time, Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT) to join our high level team. Only candidates that are licensed or planning or will sitting tor the National exam will be considered . New graduates are encouraged to join us and grow with us. We are a full-service veterinary clinic that is committed to promoting responsible pet ownership and working cooperatively with our clients to provide the best care for their pets. In addition to caring for dogs and cats our practice provides special services for small mammals such as rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets. Applicant must be able to work between the hours of 7:45am and 6:30pm during the week as well as rotating Saturdays. We would love to add another full-time position, but will be happy to consider someone who only wants part-time as well. We use a lot of electronic medical records, so you will need to be comfortable with that aspect of the job. Strong verbal and written communication skills with clients and willingness to continue to learn new skills is a must. Experience with small mammals or a willing to learn is a strict requirement. Our practice wants you to use your skills that you leaned and work side-by-side with our veterinarians, but there may be times where you need to work independently within the scope of your license. We work at a fast paced and strive to have a rewarding and fun day as we do this.
