To Apply for this Job Click Here We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to process and analyze veterinary patient samples while operating high-throughput laboratory equipment. You will perform various laboratory tests, including urinalysis, hematology, and parasite identification, and collaborate with team members to meet operational demands.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and analyze veterinary patient samples. Operate high-throughput lab equipment and perform microscopy tasks. Utilize Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and interface with various technologies. Maintain a clean and organized lab environment while adhering to safety protocols. Properly dispose of hazardous materials and manage inventory. Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of lab equipment. Participate in continuous improvement and training programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in a clinical or veterinary setting. Proficiency in hematology, chemistry, coagulation, immunoassay, and urinalysis. Experience with lab systems like Siemens Advia, Siemens Immulite, Beckman AU, or Novus. Strong IT skills and familiarity with LIS or LIMS. Excellent communication skills.
