Love animals? Love your job! The Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association is now hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician to help grow our program. Duties include, but not limited to: administering vaccinations and medications, prepping animals for surgery and recovering animals from surgery, anesthetic monitoring, running laboratory tests, venipuncture, assisting in radiology, and basic animal (cat and dog) handling skills.
Qualifications:
high school diploma or GED required, Associate Degree or higher in Veterinary Technology, 1+ year in veterinary practice preferred, schedule flexibility, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and ability to handle animals 50+ lbs.
