Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Registered Veterinary Technician and become a vital part of providing exceptional animal care! In this energetic role, you will support veterinarians with a wide range of clinical duties, ensuring our patients receive compassionate, high-quality treatment. Your expertise in animal handling, and laboratory procedures will help create a positive environment for pets and their owners alike. We recently completed a total remodel and expansion of our facility, allowing us to better serve our patients and give you the tools to practice at your best. The Veterinary Emergency Clinic in Fairmont West Virginia is seeking both full-time and part-time Registered Veterinary Technicians (preferred) or skill equivalent assistants to join our fast paced practice. Clinical experience is a must . We are looking for motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings, are compassionate, hard working, detail oriented, have good communication, team work skills and are passionate about advancing animal health Duties include assisting our doctors and team members with the medical and surgical care of our patients including blood draws, lab work, anesthesia monitoring during surgery, animal restraint, client communication, administration of medical plans, and routine patient care. Must be able to work evenings, overnight, weekends and holidays.
