HVAC Installer and Service Technician

Job Overview Tradewinds HVAC & Fireplace is a family-owned company located in Isanti specializing in residential and commercial HVAC service and installation. This position offers a wide variety of work, including residential service and installation as well as commercial rooftop unit (RTU) service and installation. Responsibilities Install, maintain and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, heaters, and ductwork in residential properties Install and service commercial HVAC systems Complete residential HVAC installations in a timely manner while maintaining meticulous craftsmanship Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements Handle customer concerns when on jobsites and escalate to sales when appropriate Advise on system upgrades, improvements and service agreements Preform preventative maintenance Test HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments Execute a consistent customer walkthrough on calls in accordance with company process Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns Conduct site inspections and measurements to determine appropriate HVAC system placement Submit notes, photos and receipts daily Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts and installation teams Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Properly complete paperwork Ability to be on a rotating on-call schedule Maintain truck cleanliness, inside and out Keep truck inventory up to date Work in outside condition and all types of weather Ability to work in confined spaces and heights Requirements Must have a minimum of 4 years of service and installation experience. EPA Certification Ability to be on a rotating on-call schedule Ability to work overtime Comfortable making recommendations about needed repairs and replacement services. Ability to present pricing to customers and collect payments on site. Comfortable in multi-tasking to support a growing family-oriented business Highly motivated, flexible and great attitude on life. Ability to lift 60+ lbs Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test Professional appearance and personality Valid Driver's License Clean driving record Ability to pull and back up trailers Ability to work independently Excellent diagnostic skills in HVAC/R equipment Electrical knowledge Experience in both Residential and Commercial equipment Boiler experience Sheet metal experience Gas piping experience Good communication skills Team oriented Company tablet Paid continuing education

Pay:

$28.00 - $40.00 per hour
