Role Overview Works directly in the field on maintenance, repair, as well as projects that directly involve heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration (HVACR) and all other aspects of mechanical equipment. This position will be involved in a variety of markets to include mission critical, data centers, manufacturing, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, retail, and more. With a primary focus in the VA, MD, WV and DC markets (targeted 90 mile radius from home location), this position will also assist with national accounts as needed based on project demand. This position mentors team members and supports long-term planning for the organization's mechanical portfolio. This position requires enthusiasm, leadership, excellent communication skills and the ability to work on multiple complex tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment. •Includes $5,000 Signing Bonus• Key Responsibilities Maintain strong communication with internal teams, clients, and external partners. Mentor and support team members while promoting a collaborative, customer-focused culture. Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation path for task/project-related issues. Ensure assigned initiatives are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with goals. Assist the Mechanical Team Manager/Director with quotations and project planning for assigned accounts. Continuously work to improve performance strategies, workflows, and operational practices. Maintain required documentation and ensure compliance with internal project management processes. Interface with cross-functional teams across the organization. Travel as required, including potential international travel. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience working on chillers, cooling towers, CRACs, CRAHs, air handlers, rooftop units, compressors, pumps, etc. Moderate to advanced understanding of controls componentry to include relays, contactors, motor starters, control boards, as well as electrical knowledge. Strong organization and multitasking skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments across different client accounts simultaneously. Journeymans or Masters mechanic license for MD or VA. Clean driving record as a company vehicle is provided with this position. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with technical teams, vendors and clients. Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced project environment. Willingness to travel as required, including potential international travel. Preferred Qualifications Mechanical certifications such as Industrial Maintenance Technician, HVAC Excellence, CMRP, etc. Experience using software and collaboration tools such as: o Microsoft Office & Teams o SharePoint o Smartsheet Experience working in industrial and heavy commercial environments.
