HVAC Residential Service Technician

Our team is devoted to providing the highest level of diagnostic and repairs to our clients and recommending replacements where suitable. Duties Provide factory start up, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems across residential properties. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, diagrams and HVAC design plans to accurately execute system additions and repairs. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency. Conduct plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as condensate drain cleaning or minor pipe repairs. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics and brazing equipment for system repairs when necessary. Diagnose mechanical, electrical and refrigeration circuit issues using technical knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical and control systems, Air flow systems such as zone systems, and maintenance standards. Operate a vehicle safely while transporting tools or materials to job sites during daily routes. Follow safety protocols during field service operations, including proper handling of refrigerants and working with complex mechanical components. Communicate clearly with clients about system functions, maintenance needs, or repair procedures to ensure customer satisfaction. Clear communication with the dispatch office and following all process and procedures as required. Assisting in creating new or refining current procedures to maximize technician daily efficiency. Experience Minimum 5 years of proven service technician experience in HVAC or related fields with a strong understanding of system sequence of operation. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, refrigeration techniques and zone systems. Hands-on experience with system diagnostic repairs, maintenance, start up and manufacture standards. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC components such as compressors, fans, thermostats, valves, and electrical controls. Field service experience involving troubleshooting electrical issues using ohmmeters or similar diagnostic tools. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating service trucks and vans with ladder racks is preferred.
