  • We are looking for a HVAC technician for the Lexington and Columbia area that has job experience.
The requirements are that you know how to troubleshoot systems. We are a residential and commercial company that specializes in giving our customers a great experience when using us. As a Service Technician you must be able to accurately diagnose and efficiently service our customers HVAC needs. Our Technicians continue to drive our profession, image, and reputation. Our HVAC Technicians are committed to performing service repairs, equipment maintenance, and replacements for our customers as needed. Hardworking and integrity driven, our technicians make quality repairs in a timely manner, maintain their equipment to the highest standards, and build trusting relationships with our clients. Responsibilities
  • Must be able to work individually and in a team environment.
  • Maintain, and repair heating, ventilation and cooling units for commercial and residential customers.
  • Diagnose service issues, identify any replacement parts, calibrate system. to manufacturer's recommendations and be able to explain the need for and value of recommended solutions.
  • Identify and report potential opportunities for additional business (new unit/ system, maintenance contracts, and additional services).
  • Electronically document details of services and parts provided to customers.
  • Travel to job sites and work with dispatcher to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer.
  • Maintain good working order of company vehicle, equipment, and electronics.
  • Maintain stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the company vehicle.
  • Participate in company-provided training opportunities. Job Qualifications
  • Must possess Valid driver's license.
  • Preferred 2+ years of recent HVAC Technician field experience
  • Basic computer skills for iPad and cell phone communication and documentation
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

Experience:
HVAC:
2 years (Preferred) Duties Install, inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation fans, and related mechanical components. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, HVAC design documents to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, refrigerant recharges, and ductwork adjustments to ensure system efficiency. Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems using tools like ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment; identify electrical faults or refrigerant leaks promptly. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems including pipe repairs or replacements for refrigerant lines or water supply connections. Repair appliances and mechanical equipment associated with property maintenance or commercial facilities. Maintain detailed service logs, reports on repairs performed, parts used, and system conditions; ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Drive company vehicles safely to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws; ensure proper documentation of service calls. Experience Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a strong background in self diagnosing HVAC equipmen. Hands-on experience with HVAC systems including refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), air conditioning units, boilers, ventilation systems, and related mechanical equipment. Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, HVAC design principles, and property maintenance procedures. Familiarity with plumbing systems associated with HVAC installations or repairs. Mechanical knowledge of appliances repair and general equipment troubleshooting skills. Field service experience working directly at customer sites or commercial properties. Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; ability to interpret electrical schematics accurately. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred for safe transportation between sites.
