HVAC Service Technician (Auditor Track)

This is not just another service position — this is a structured career path. Technicians will begin in a service role and, through a progression of training and performance development, will transition into conducting whole-home energy audits for major utility programs. Successful candidates will undergo BPI (Building Performance Institute) training and certification , fully supported by our company.

Initial Role:

HVAC Service Technician Responsibilities Include:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems Perform preventative maintenance and system evaluations Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding system performance and recommendations Complete service documentation accurately and efficiently Maintain professionalism and strong customer service standards

Career Progression:

HVAC Auditor After completing training and meeting performance benchmarks, technicians will transition into an HVAC Auditor role.

In This Role, You Will:

Conduct whole-home energy audits Perform diagnostic testing (blower door, combustion analysis, etc.) Evaluate home efficiency and safety Work within various utility energy efficiency programs Provide homeowners with energy-saving recommendations Coordinate with program administrators and internal teams Successful candidates will: Complete BPI training and certification Be trained on utility program compliance and energy-efficiency standards Develop advanced building science knowledge

Qualifications:
