HVAC Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency across various property types. A strong foundation in construction, plumbing, refrigeration, and HVAC design is essential to succeed in this role. Responsibilities Install, inspect, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to accurately execute system setups and repairs. Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines. Troubleshoot electrical components using tools such as ohmmeters and identify issues related to wiring or equipment malfunction. Conduct field service visits for appliance repair, property maintenance tasks, and HVAC system upgrades or replacements. Utilize welding skills when necessary for equipment repair or custom fabrication projects. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports to track work performed and parts used. Experience Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or in a similar field service role involving HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration). Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on plumbing systems and appliances related to HVAC setups. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and property maintenance procedures. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers is preferred. Skilled in equipment repair techniques such as welding and boiler maintenance. Previous experience working with mechanical systems in construction or property management environments is advantageous. $16.00 - $40.00 per hour
