A Military Specialist operates and maintains vehicles and mechanical equipment pertinent to mission success, whether on the sea, land or in the air. May monitor communication, detection, or weapons systems during operations. Interprets and evaluates tactical situations, making recommendations to supervisors. May operate weapons targeting, firing, and launch systems whether during combat or peacetime. In addition to their combat training, they have also specialized training in swimming, diving, parachuting, survival, emergency medicine, and foreign languages. Duties include conducting advanced reconnaissance operations and collecting intelligence information; recruiting, training, and equipping friendly forces; conducting raids and invasions on enemy territories; laying and detonating explosives for demolition targets; locating, identifying, defusing, and disposing of ordnance; and operating and maintaining sophisticated communications equipment.

your duties are below. Crees local modificions to the STAMIS system. Modificions within and among systems are creed to provide for the communicion of da between testing plforms and the STAMIS system. Results are used to ensure the timely and accure exchange of maintenance, supply and operional da between individual aircraft laptop computers and the Local Area Network (LAN). Works with multiple opering systems with guidelines th are not always specific or may not exist. Monitors the transfer of da between aircraft laptops and LAN computers to ensure da integrity is maintained. Monitors da back-up systems. Ensures da and da files are accurely entered into a system through the Local Area Network (LAN). Monitors dabase files from outside sources (e.g., inspection master files, component master files and reportable item files) to ensure da integrity and applicability. Restores deleted da files as necessary. Utilizes Standing Opering Procedures (SOP's) in the event of ULLS-A failure. Troubleshoots common or recurring problems experienced by laptop users. Crees dabase inquiries to access local informion stored in the ULLS-A. Assists AASF users in preparing locally designed reports. Crees, edits and saves dabase queries. Prioritizes work and necessary repair actions to ensure opering systems function correctly. Ensures reports accurely reflect individual aircraft stus. Oversees AMSS processes for daily recording and reporting of aircraft/subsystem readiness and end-of-period reports. Maintains and updes unit parameters and aircraft/weapon systems authorizion files to ensure calculed readiness res are available. Serves as the Terminal Area Security Officer (TASO) with security oversight over

system components. Manages ULLS-A network security protection mechanisms. Assigns, secures, stores, and maintains user IDs, passwords and controls individual and group access to the ULLS-A system. Provides advice and recommendions for using and safeguarding ULLS-A da and resources against unauthorized disclosure, modificion, access, use, destruction or denial of service. Trains or works with personnel on ULLS-A changes and procedures. Prepares presentions, utilizing computer programs, as required. Performs other duties as assigned.
