Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication and attentive listening. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately. Assist customers with product demos, explaining features and benefits to enhance their shopping experience. Upsell products and suggest complementary items to increase sales and meet store goals. Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented. Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling, basic math calculations, and balancing registers at shift end. Follow phone etiquette protocols when answering inquiries or assisting customers over the phone. Support inventory management by participating in stocking activities and conducting stock counts as needed. Demonstrate supervisory skills by guiding new team members or assisting with team coordination when required. Qualifications Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs. Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales calculations. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor and an ability to focus on details while taking a customer's order. Knowledge of grocery store operations or experience working in a grocery environment is beneficial. Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing displays effectively.
