About the Role As a software engineering intern at Everfox, you'll gain hands-on experience in the defense tech industry, working alongside experienced cybersecurity engineers across the software development process as a full member of the team. You'll use AI as part of the team's everyday workflow, with mentorship to help you build both the skill and the judgment to use it well. Your projects will span our Cross Domain Solutions portfolio, the technology that moves data securely between networks of different security levels.
That work takes many forms:
research, tool development, and product engineering, across the full cybersecurity stack, from hardware and firmware to operating systems, applications, and human factors.
Pay:

Required:
Able to obtain a US Government security clearance Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher (any field of study) Demonstrated software development, debugging, and testing skills — comparable to a computer science or related degree, or equivalent experience Ideal candidates also have many of the following: Cybersecurity coursework, work experience, or strong interest Comfortable with at least one language (Rust, C, Java, or Python preferred) Strong written and verbal communication Linux experience (development or system administration) Experience with AI coding tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, Cursor) Don't meet every single qualification?
