Service and Deficiency Sales 5279 28th Avenue Rockford, IL 61109 Share Share Email Post Share The primary responsibility of this position is to sell fire system deficiency and repair work, new system designs, installations and commissioning, and system modifications or upgrades. The target market will be those companies in the commercial, industrial, residential, multifamily/apartment and hospitality and healthcare industries. Who are we? Job Responsibilities Establish contact with prospective and qualified potential buyers of service agreement, system modifications and upgrades by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and outlined marketing strategies

Contact prospective and qualified potential buyers of new commercial fire sprinkler systems and associated equipment

Review annual inspection reports and provide proposals for deficiency and repair work.

Determine customer needs by conducting site surveys and communicate effectively to educate the customer about WSFP capabilities

Perform job setup, identify and order materials needed for jobs, and coordinate with the Service Manager to schedule work

Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog to support the established sales plan

Develop and maintain new and existing customer relationships to ensure ORR meets or exceeds their expectations of a long-term partner

Support other WSFP Teams in their initiatives as they relate to your territory

Meet the key objectives of the annual commission plan

Complete additional projects as developed and assigned by your supervisor or management.

Maintain historical record of all sales and bidding documents/stats

Submit all required sales reports, data, expenses, and correspondence in an accurate and timely manner

Conduct coordination with other departments to ensure proper handover of job information

Conduct Project Manager functions as required and designated

Job Qualifications Construction background preferred

Strong written and oral communication skills are a must

Willing to present information and respond to questions

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Dynamics CRM)

Possess a valid driver's license; in accordance with Company policy Your success will be measured by your achievement of these objectives: Meeting or exceeding individual new inspection sales, proposal, and customer connections goals.

Being a relentless pursuer of knowledge about emerging technologies in the life safety industry, including updated policies and regulations in your market.

Having a minimum of one face-to-face visit with an existing customer per week.

Your commitment to speaking with customers with aged receivables approaching 120 days.

Actively participating in at least one local trade organization.

Being a regular participant in the Learning and Development opportunities available through VFPG and APi Group.

Tracking all customer connections, proposals, and wins in VFPG supported customer relationship management (CRM) system. What we Offer Individual Development Plans (IDP) every 60/90/120 days
