Immediate Need Florida LPN/RN Home Health All Shifts Non Agency Private Duty

Job Title:

Florida LPN/RN Non Agency Private Duty Home Health Nurse Duties:

• Provide personal care services to one nonverbal patient in her pet friendly home, including grooming and dressing.
• Assist with meal feeding.
• Administer medications by mouth and through gtube.
• Monitor vital signs and possible seizures.
• Assist with mobility and 2 person transfers (patient is too small for hoyer lift) to walker and toileting chair ensuring patient safety at all times.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patient in a pet friendly home.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Florida LPN or RN required. Please do not apply if no Florida LPN or RN. Compact is acceptable.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with one patient and her family in a pet friendly home. Mother works from home.
• Ability and understanding working with a nonverbal sweet special needs individual with cognitive and physical impairment.

This is a private duty independent non agency position with pay rates (starting at $28 for LPN and $32 for RN with pay increases possible within 90 days). Wages reported through a 1099. There are no paid benefits. Pay is direct deposited from medicaid every 2 weeks. Monday and Friday and weekend availability is preferred. Overnight shifts are available on weekends. Nurses share weekends and holidays on a rotating basis. Time and a half paid can be approved for holidays worked.
