Job Description

CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company that services the country's largest wireless telecommunications providers, as well as the largest High-speed Internet & Cable providers. The Branch Ambassador is responsible for assisting new hires in getting acclimated to the company culture, fostering a positive environment, and providing ongoing support during their initial period of employment. Overall, this position plays a crucial role in executing the Employee Experience Playbook and helping new employees feel welcomed and prepared for their roles within the organization. 1st
Shift:
Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM Responsibilities Serve as the face of the company, greeting and assisting new hires, answering inquiries, and providing information as necessary. Lead new employee tours, encompassing comprehensive training on Health & Safety protocols. Collaborate with Branch leadership to facilitate new employee department placements and communicate with department leaders to ensure readiness for new hires. Conduct Day 1 Orientation for All Direct Hire employees and perform Ambassador duties based on designated employee key milestones thereafter. Verify accurate setup of all employees in Kronos system and collaborate with HR to rectify any discrepancies. Engage proactively in the Branch Culture Committee and contribute to organizing employee appreciation events. Provide daily updates to management and ensure effective execution of any changes. Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition. All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports. Required Skills and Experience Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate, motivate, and influence individuals. Ability to swiftly adapt to changes and effectively implement new processes. Effective multitasking skills coupled with thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion Competent in maintaining accurate and organized records. Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities. Sales and marketing mindset to champion the company's brand and enhance employee career opportunities. Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office (Excel, and Outlook). Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Preferred Skills and Experience Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus. Ability to speak multiple languages. Continuous improvement mindset. Educational Requirements High school diploma or equivalent work experience. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Warehouse environment The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary. The ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary. The ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary.
